It all began with Francesco, the founder.

Francesco Minelli and his three sons Raffaele, Felice and Paolo registered the Minelli company in Bergamo city and cutting the local woodlands of Brembana valley was the first business.

Immediately after, in the Ambriola village a small workshop was built to perform some basic wood machining. Francesco’s sons learned the secrets to recognize the finest species, the techniques to work and finish wood to the best.

The artisan workshop grows into a small factory with one small office to manage the business. Located in a narrow valley, where the sun is just peeking, Minelli’s quality products began to be appreciated and grew accordingly in the decades.

The economic growth of Sixties comes with the automation of some manufacturing processes and new sheds being built.

The company starts producing different product lines and this requires more floor space. The plant in Zogno is built.

The company has expanded its range of product lines, necessitating additional floor space. As a result, a new plant has been constructed in Gottolengo.

Over the years Minelli has refined its experience and further improved its production capacity. At this point it became essential to have an internal finishing laboratory in which the company could exploit its own knowhow and expertise in order to develop and experiment new technologies and finishing methods. Gottolengo production plant & finishing lab was built.

The exceptional quality of Minelli products has led to a growing demand from international markets. To meet production demand and reduce carbon emissions related to the transportation of goods and raw materials, Minelli is growing in Europe by building the production plant in Albania.

Nowadays Minelli produces premium custom made wood components for the leading brands in each sector. In order to respond to the growing demand in the US markets Minelli USA LLC was born.
